Debate Club Membership Requirements 

what to expect

The purpose of Debate Club is to prepare students for debate competition. After completing our summer camp training, Debate Club members work with our national championship coaches each week to advance their communication skills through training and practice, in preparation for competition.

Plano-Allen Meetings

Plano/Allen Club members meet weekly from September 9, 2017 to May 26, 2018 (except the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter).

Location: Cottonwood Creek Church, 1015 Sam Rayburn Tollway, Allen, TX 75013

Meeting Time: Saturdays, 11:00-12:30pm.

Coppell-Lewisville Meetings

Coppell Club members meet weekly from September 8, 2017 to May 25, 2018 (except the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter).

Location: Vista Ridge Bible Fellowship Church, 2345 TX-121 BUS, Lewisville, TX 75067

Meeting Time: Fridays, 6:30-8:00pm.

Each policy debate team must purchase the 2017-2018 Tools for Team Policy Curriculum and Sourcebook. Debaters will need access to a computer for 4-6 hours of research and one online debate practice per week.

2018-2019:  Club Tuition ($32 per 1.5 hour session, 27 sessions) + $35 registration fee*: $899 per student

*The $35 registration fee will be waived for registrations completed by June 1, 2018.

Note: The Registration and Tuition fees are not refundable or transferable. Your registration is your commitment that your registered student(s) will attend the training you reserved.
